What is Vesla?
Vesla is a cooking app for iPhone. It pulls recipes out of Instagram reels, TikToks, YouTube videos, food blogs and photos and turns them into a structured recipe with an ingredient list, steps, cook mode, shopping list and weekly plan.
Where can Vesla import recipes from?
From Instagram reels, TikTok videos, YouTube videos, recipe blogs and websites, from photos of cookbook pages and handwritten cards, and from dictation. You share the link or the picture with Vesla and the app does the rest.
How does importing from an Instagram reel work?
Tap share on the reel and pick Vesla. Vesla reads the video, its captions and the description, then writes out the ingredients and steps. A few seconds later the recipe is in your collection.
What does Vesla cost?
Vesla is free: 4 imports and 4 AI images per 30 days, no account needed. Vesla Pro lifts that limit.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start importing recipes right away. You only need an account once you want to back up your recipes or use them on more than one device.
Which devices does Vesla run on?
iPhone running iOS 18 or later. Vesla is on the App Store, in English and German.
Does Vesla show nutrition information?
Yes. Vesla estimates calories, protein, fat and carbohydrates per serving. Vesla is a cooking app, not a nutrition calculator: treat the numbers as a guide, not as medical advice.
